The Indianapolis Colts’ 2020 NFL win total is set at 7.5 at FoxBet, well below the league-leading 11.5 listed for Super Bowl 54 champions the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Indy mark is equal to last season after oddsmakers adjusted the number in late August due to Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement. Westgate dropped the number two games from 9.5 to 7.5 with the prospect of Jacoby Brissett under center. Luck led the franchise to 10 wins and a divisional-round playoff appearance in the 2018-19 campaign.

The Colts started the 2019-20 season in surprising fashion, claiming victories in five of their first seven games, but fizzled to win only two of their final nine contests. The offense lacked firepower and proved largely inefficient due to a lackluster passing game. The unit picked up just 5.2 yards per play (24th in the NFL).

The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans are each listed at OVER/UNDER 8.5 wins to top the AFC South. The Jacksonville Jaguars, earning just one winning season in their last 12 overall, sit below the Colts on the board at 6.5.

Super Bowl 55 odds: Chiefs consensus favorites

Super Bowl 54 champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, lead the NFL with a win total of 11.5. Head coach Andy Reid has guided the franchise to double-digit victories in six of seven seasons.

The Baltimore Ravens, which tallied an NFL-high 14 regular-season wins last year, is the only other AFC team with a double-digit mark (10.5).

The rebuilding Miami Dolphins have the lowest win total on the board at 5.5.

Over in the NFC, the Chicago Bears’ 2020 NFL win total is set at 8.5. Coming off a disappointing .500 season (8-8 straight up), the franchise is projected to finish third in the NFC North for the second year in a row behind the Green Bay Packers (9.5) and Minnesota Vikings (8.5). Oddsmakers are dealing the Detroit Lions at 7.5 victories.

The Bears went into the 2019-20 campaign with a 9-win mark at Westgate LV SuperBook, the OVER juiced to -140 due to heavy public action. Wiseguy money kept the number from moving up a half game. The Pros vs. Joes showdown is common for the book concerning Chicago’s NFL win totals each year. The Bears were coming off a 12-win, division-topping 2018-19 season.

Whether the Bears get as much public backing headed into next season is up in the air. The defense was stout as always last year, but the offense proved one of the worst in the league. It ranked 31st in yards per play and 32nd in yards per pass attempt, as quarterback Mitchell Trubisky seemingly regressed behind a porous offensive line.

“From a personnel standpoint, we’re going to look at it,” general manager Ryan Pace said of the O-line at his end-of-season press conference. “From a schematic standpoint, we’re going to look at it. That was real this year. That hurt us.”

The NFC North winner has notched 10 wins in every season but one (2013).

The San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and New Orleans Saints are all tied at OVER/UNDER 10.5 wins to lead the NFC oddsboard, while the Washington Redskins, New York Giants, Carolina Panthers, and Arizona Cardinals own the fewest in the conference at 6.5.
