In this week’s episode of the Doggy Juice Pod, I sat down with BetIndiana News’ Joe Boozell to discuss all things hoops – including the start of the college basketball season, the state of the NBA, and betting value on the MVP board.
The 2019-20 college basketball season tipped off Tuesday with 148 games across the country. With college hoops officially underway – along with college football, the NFL, NBA, and NHL – it is now one of the busiest times on the sports calendar year. There are more games to handicap and additional information for bettors to sort through, but oddsmakers are tasked with the same challenges.
Joe and I talk about Duke and Kentucky’s respective victories in Tuesday’s State Farm Champions Classic and offer our early opinions on teams to keep an eye on at the start of the college basketball season. We also diagnose the NBA and Joe offers his favorite value play on the MVP board.
